Chocó Nut Ice Cream

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 cups cream
  • 6 egg whites
  • 7 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • ½ slab chocolate or 2 tablespoons cocoa
 

Method:

Beat egg whites till stiff.  Add sugar little by little till it becomes fluffy.  Cook milk and cocoa over low heat (if using chocolate slab, first melt it over hot water before using) keep stirring the mixture till it becomes thick and reduces in quantity.  Beat cream well and add to the milk mixture.  Add essence and stir gently.

Freeze mixture until firm.  Remove beat well add almonds and freeze till set.
