Falooda Ice Cream

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 liter milk (sweetened)
  • 2 tablespoons essence
  • ½ cup cream
  • ½ cup almonds and pistachios
  • 2 tablespoons falooda seeds
  • 1 packet (rasna shahi gulab) (or) rose syrup
  • 200 Mali liter vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup falooda sev or vermicelli
 

Method:

Boil milk stirring all the time till the milk is a little thick.  Add rose essence and chill.   You could buy falooda sev or use a thick variety of vermicelli.  Boil vermicelli and keep aside.

Soak falooda seeds for 2-3 hours.  Make Rasna Shahi Gulab as per directions given on the pack.

To serve take tall sundae tall sundae glasses.  Put a spoon of Rasna concentrated syrup.  Put a few strands of vermicelli and a spoon of falooda seeds.  Add a cupful of sweetened milk.  Put a scoop of vanilla ice cream and top with cream and nuts.
